Suction Modulation Valve

The next generation suction modulation valve is designed to better control the flow of refrigerant gas into the compressor. By modulating the amount of refrigerant that enters the compressor the unit can better regulate temperature control and compressor power.

Operating the compressor at or near the "sweet spot" of its functional design envelope means it can run at its peak efficiency regardless of the set point or outside temperature. This reduces engine power, which reduces fuel and emissions.
