Electronic Control Module (ECM)

The Electronic Control Module (ECM) can be thought of as the brain of the EES system.

The ECM monitors the engine emissions system parameters and, when needed, will initiate automatic regeneration. The ECM controls passive, active, or active-assist regeneration to maintain optimum performance.

The ECM interfaces with the APX^™ Control System via CAN-bus communication to display EES operational and diagnostic information.
